We are looking for a Mid Weight Designer to join the BBL to deliver world class marketing assets across a multitude of channels from print to digital. You will be responsible delivering assests across social, web, email, print and commercial presentations, we are looking for a swiss army knife creative individual that will be one of the many brand guardians for the business.

For this position, we expect you to have had a portfolio that is second to none, experience in sports and ideally be a fan of basketball. You’ll have experience across a multitude of Adobe Creative cloud products, an eye for detail and an opinion on how we adapt and adopt the new
brand principles across the league and the clubs.


  • Create assets ongoing assets for:
    • Social media
    • Paid media
    • Web and Email execution
    • Print Material
    • Event Branding
    • Billboard and Out of Home assets
    • Motion Graphics for content and LED boards, a bonus
    • HTML 5 Animations
    • Presentations for commercial and marketing
  • Provide guidelines working with other stakeholders
  • Manage time effectively, ensuring we have processes in place that prioritise deadlines,
    manage the various stakeholders within the business.

Requirements and skills

  • Excellent experience of Adobe Creative suite
    • Required: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
    • Optional: Lightroom, Animate, Dreamweaver
    • Bonus: After Effects
  • Microsoft Office 365:
    • Required: PowerPoint, word, outlook
  • To maintain the high visual standard and assist others in maintaining this standard
    through guidelines templates and instruction
  • Creation of presentation and mock-ups to present ideas/executions for approval
  • To bring Fresh ideas and approaches by combining cultural awareness with an enquiring
  • Artistic with a multitude style to provide a rich variety across our social channels
  • A great understanding for UI and UX and how to move users down the funnel using signs
    and signifiers and across all our channels to drive user action.

  • Consistent use of the brand through the brand, campaigns, event branding and merchandise across all channels
  • Clear guidelines provided to all stakeholders
  • Delivering against deadlines
  • Creative executions that will drive interest from our fan base
  • Clear and concise presentations that tell the BBL story and help the commercial team sell
  • Assets that fans want to share because of how you execute these in channels
